Meeting Information

Join us the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm

The next meeting will be on Monday the 1st of December, 2008

Location:  1730 Center Drive in Midwest City, OK 73110

Board Meeting:  We have a board meeting that begins at 6:00pm  which is one hour before the regular meeting.  We encourage any members who are curious about what goes on behind the scenes to join us.

Meeting Agenda:  First you sign in at the front table where you will receive a ticket for a random drawing prize that is held at about 8:00pm and open for members and non-members alike. 

At 7:00pm we open with announcements. 

Next we have a guest artist give a "how-to" demonstration in a type of art such as colored pencil, oil painting, pastels etc.  This is a great learning experience and even if you specialize in one media, you might just get inspired to try something new! 

At about 8:00pm we break for refreshments provided by volunteers from the guild and we have a mini art show where we vote for the "Members' Choice Award."  Our members are encouraged to bring in a work of art in any medium to participate in the contest.  Voting is open to members only.

At the end of the second hour of our guest artist's demonstration, we present ribbon awards for "Member's Choice Award" and the "Judge's Choice Award."  The judge is our guest artist.  It's always been a TOUGH choice too!  A lot of talent shows up every week.

You are sure to make friends and enjoy yourself at our meetings where the attire is as relaxed as the atmosphere.  And you just might learn something too.
