Media:  Colored Pencil, Sewing and Needle Art

Mary Lou Smith has been doing colored pencil art for two years.  During which time she has been studying under Sheila Minnich.  Before doing colored pencil art, all of her artwork was with textiles, which included all kinds of sewing and needle art.  After learning to use the colored pencils, she now uses them to do gourd decorating as well as her paintings.  Marry Lou is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), Local Chapter 221 of the CPSA, Mid-Del Art Guild, and the American Gourd Society.  She is enjoying every minute of a new way to be creative.
