Dianne Tumey has been making artwork since 1975.  She began taking oil painting lessons from Teresa Elkins in 1975 while living in Oklahoma City.  At that time, her husband was an Oklahoma City Fireman.  She showed her art in many shows through the South Oklahoma City Art Association.  In 1978 her family moved to Harrah, Oklahoma.  Shortly after that she and her husband started a Game Farm hatchery (B&D Game Farm) and they have continued this business for the last 30 years.  In 2003, she began taking colored pencil classes from Sheila Minnich at the Choctaw Votech and continuied until 2007.  She prefers realistic depictions of wildlife, flowers, and domestic animals.  Dianne is a member of the National Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), the Local District Chapter 221 of the CPSA, and Mid-Del Art Guild.
